“The life of an artist, until you make f–k-you money — which I haven’t made yet — is still check-to-check,” Porter said.
Porter’s comments come after Disney CEO Bob Iger dismissed the demands of striking actors and writers as “unrealistic.”

Porter has since responded to Iger’s comments, saying that he is “so enraged” by the Disney CEO’s words.

The strikes in Hollywood have been going on for over two months now, and there is no sign of a resolution in sight. In the meantime, actors and writers like Billy Porter are feeling the financial strain of the work stoppage.

It remains to be seen how long the strikes will last, but one thing is clear: Bob Iger’s comments have only made things worse.
