Chelsea came from behind to beat 10-man Brighton 4-3 in a thrilling preseason friendly in Philadelphia on Saturday.

Brighton took a 13th-minute lead through Danny Welbeck, but Chelsea equalized through Christopher Nkunku in the 25th minute.
The Blues then took the lead in the 55th minute through Mykhailo Mudryk, but Brighton were reduced to 10 men when Jan Paul van Hecke was sent off for a second yellow card.

Chelsea capitalized on their numerical advantage and scored three goals in 11 minutes through Mudryk, Conor Gallagher, and Nicolas Jackson.
Brighton rallied late on and scored two goals through João Pedro and Deniz Undav, but Chelsea held on for the win.

The victory was Chelsea’s second consecutive in preseason under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
