Cristiano Ronaldo Scores To Send Al Nassr To Arab Club Champions Cup Semi-Finals

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his third goal of the season to help Al Nassr reach the semi-finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup on Monday.

The Portuguese superstar struck in the 70th minute to break the deadlock in a 1-1 draw against Al Ahly of Egypt. The result saw Al Nassr progress to the last four on away goals, having drawn the first leg 0-0 in Riyadh.

Ronaldo, who joined Al Nassr from Juventus in September, has now scored in three of his five appearances for the club. He has also provided two assists.

The 37-year-old’s goal against Al Ahly was his first in the Arab Club Champions Cup since 2014. He previously won the competition with Real Madrid in 2014 and 2018.

Al Nassr will face Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia in the semi-finals. The first leg will be played in Riyadh on February 14, with the second leg taking place in Jeddah on February 21.
