At least 20 families were displaced by the fire, and many of them are still reeling from the loss of their homes. “It’s like a nightmare,” said one resident, who asked not to be identified. “I don’t know what we’re going to do.”

The Red Cross is providing assistance to the displaced residents, but many of them are still in need of food, clothing, and shelter. The Red Cross has set up a donation center at the Cedar Park Community Center, located at 1401 E. Whitestone Blvd. Donations of clothing, food, and other essentials are being accepted.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is believed to have started in one of the apartment units. The fire department says that the fire was accidental, but they are still working to determine the exact cause.

The fire is a reminder of the importance of fire safety. Residents are urged to have a fire escape plan in place and to make sure that they have working smoke detectors in their homes.
