Final Round of Wyndham Championship Resumes After Weather Delay

The final round of the Wyndham Championship resumed on Monday after being delayed by thunderstorms on Sunday. Lucas Glover and Russell Henley co-lead the tournament at 20-under par, and they will tee off on the 15th hole when play resumes.

The final round of the Wyndham Championship was suspended at 4:52 p.m. ET on Sunday due to thunderstorms. The storms were expected to clear around 6 p.m. ET, and play was scheduled to resume at 6:55 p.m. ET.

When play resumed, Glover and Henley were finishing hole 14. They will tee off on the 15th hole when play resumes. Byeong Hun An and Billy Horschel will be hitting their approach shots on hole 15.

Glover and Henley are both looking to win their first PGA Tour title since 2019. Glover is currently ranked 125th in the FedExCup standings, and a win would secure his spot in the playoffs. Henley is currently ranked 108th in the FedExCup standings, and a win would give him a good chance to make the playoffs.

The other golfers in contention include Webb Simpson, who is one stroke back at 19-under par; Kevin Kisner, who is two strokes back at 18-under par; and Patrick Reed, who is three strokes back at 17-under par.

The Wyndham Championship is the final event of the PGA Tour Regular Season. The top 125 golfers in the FedExCup standings will qualify for the playoffs, which begin next week.
