According to a report from TMZ, Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and his fiancee Lauren Sanchez have rented the Malibu house of renowned saxophonist Kenny G for a price of approximately $600,000. The mansion, which includes a 3,500-square-foot guesthouse, a spacious backyard, a pool, a screening room, and a recording studio, was initially provided to them in a semi-furnished state. However, the couple is now furnishing it according to their preferences. They have been residing in the oceanfront home since March of this year and plan to remain there until the construction of their Beverly Hills mansion is completed.
Kenny G, a Grammy-winning musician, purchased the Cape Cod-style home on Grayfox Street for $12.5 million. He later acquired the neighbouring property, which spans approximately 1.06 acres, and constructed a 3,500-square-foot retreat at a cost of around $3 million.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez became engaged after Bezos proposed to Sanchez aboard his $500 million superyacht. Their engagement was celebrated at a Mediterranean restaurant called La Petite Maison in Cannes, where they enjoyed expensive wine, exquisite food, and music. During the occasion, they indulged in zucchini blossoms with parmesan cheese and a bottle of Dugat-Py Grand Cru from Domaine Bernard, a red Burgundy wine valued at $4,285. Joining them were Jeff Bezos’s sister, Christina Bezos Poore, and her husband, Steve Poore. They dined under a vine-covered gazebo, overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.
The relationship between Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos began in 2018, and they publicly announced their partnership on July 14, 2019, following Bezos’ divorce from his first wife, MacKenzie Scott.
