Steelers Sign Pro Bowl LB Kwon Alexander to Improve Defense

Alexander, 28, is a four-time Pro Bowl selection and has been a productive linebacker throughout his career. He was a first-team All-Pro in 2017 after recording a league-high 108 solo tackles for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.


Alexander has also played for the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Jets. He has 625 tackles, 12.5 sacks, and four interceptions in his career.

The Steelers are looking to improve their linebacker corps after losing Robert Spillane and Devin Bush in free agency. Alexander is a versatile linebacker who can play inside or outside. He is also a good pass rusher and can make plays in coverage.
